Public Events

The Amateur Radio Transmitting Society has skilled radio operators, many with professional communications backgrounds and equipment available to meet your needs. For many years we have been providing communications for such local events as walks, runs and bike rides. Our services are totally free of charge, ARTS uses the events as an opportunity to practice our communications skills and enjoy our hobby. The Amateur Radio Transmitting Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, it’s members and equipment are covered by a $1,000,000 liability insurance policy.

Please contact us at least 3 months before your planned event date to insure we have enough time to assemble volunteers and other necessary resources.

Email Club President Alan Tooley  to request ARTS assistance with your event.
